Door damper ensures securely closed cold storage room door in butcher shop

The chilled air has to remain in the cold storage room so that food doesn’t spoil and the electricity bill doesn’t get too high

The door latch of the cold storage room door at this butcher’s was no longer working properly. However, the cold storage room door must always be completely closed – on the one hand for hygienic reasons and, on the other hand, to avoid unnecessarily high electricity costs. After all, in view of the high electricity prices nowadays, electricity use should be carefully watched.

Door damper VS 2000 always securely pulls the door completely shut and also keeps it closed

The DICTATOR door damper was installed next to the edge of the door. The installation position was determined so that the contact pressure is as uniform as possible throughout. As soon as the rubber roller of the door damper enters the hook, the door damper automatically takes over the final closing of the door.

Door operation made easier

This solution also made it easier for users to operate the door. All that is needed is to throw the door shut with a swing, without the need to latch the lock each time.
