Door damper prevents vibrations and air pressure fluctuations

Ever since DICTATOR door dampers prevent the lab doors from slamming shut, there is peace and quiet in the house.

The company Lometec GmbH in Kamen (Germany) is a contract measuring laboratory accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 and works with the latest measuring systems of well-known equipment manufacturers.

Due to the relocation of the 3D scan laboratory to different facilities and the subsequent expansion to include additional offices, there were problems with their measuring systems again and again due to slamming doors, which produced vibrations and air pressure fluctuations that messed with those highly sensitive measuring systems.

The DICTATOR team took up this challenge and supplied and installed two door dampers V 1600F on Hörmann fire doors in compliance with the manufacturer’s approval.

After installing the DICTATOR door dampers, the doors now close gently and quietly so that air pressure fluctuations, vibrations and door slamming are a thing of the past.

To the delight of the employees, noise levels in the laboratory area were reduced to a minimum, and now there is ‘peace and quiet in the house’!
