New back check for trade fair Fensterbau Frontale
The trade fair FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2024 will take place in Nuremberg from 19.3.-22.3. It is the world’s leading trade fair for windows, doors and façades and many innovations will be presented here once again. DICTATOR will also be exhibiting at the trade fair again, so you can look forward to our new product developments!
One of our products has long been an integral part of doors, windows and façades: the back check, which has been successfully preventing costly damage for many years. And it is now available with additional features for certain applications.
The new 10-29 series with progressive damping
The TBP 10-29 back check is characterized above all by the fact that the damping starts to operate later and more gently when the door is opened quickly – but is just as effective as our other series. This is an enormous advantage, especially for doors that are frequently used, e.g. in schools or daycare centers, as the doors are often thrown open with a lot of energy.
The entrance door of this daycare center, which is constantly subjected to strong wind, is already benefiting from the new feature. The door used to regularly hit the façade, causing costly damages.
Since the TBP 10-29 back check was installed here, the damages are a thing of the past. And thanks to the special design of the back check with additional inner tube, the door can still be opened very easily up to at least 50° when it is opened in a hurry. Only then does the damping gradually increase.
This further development from the DICTATOR team has an additional advantage: Even if the door is not completely closed before the next opening action, the back check still works perfectly and it dampens the door safely and reliably anyway.
