No more torn out door hinges due to doors opened with too much force

DICTATOR back checks for inspection doors in the DAV rock climbing centre in Darmstadt (Germany)

In the rock climbing centre of the German Alpine Association in Darmstadt (Germany) safety is extremely important. Inspection doors allow to have a look behind the setting. But, when opened carelessly, the doors opened too far and the door hinges became damaged. As the doors are part of the climbing wall, it was extremely important that they always are in perfect state.

The solution to this problem were DICTATOR back checks. They dampen the opening of the door – in case it is opened too fast – and, at the same time, limit the opening angle. DICTATOR assisted in selecting the appropriate back checks and determining the mounting position.
