Customized Homelift DHM 500 in the Hotel Weiland in Lahnstein (Germany)
Unproblematic connection of the new restaurant on the second floor despite little space.
The Hotel Weiland in the centre of (Ober-)Lahnstein looks back on a long history. The family business, steeped in tradition, was founded in 1851. But time didn’t stand still here. The hotel has evolved according to the changing requirements and wishes of its guests.
Therefore, on the second floor a restaurant has been added. However, a prerequisite for this was a good connection to the kitchen to ensure the transport of goods as well as of the staff. Since it is an old building, the space was a problem. The lift cabin should be as large as possibe, the access door had to have a width of 900 mm. A typical case for the DICTATOR Homelift DHM 500. It is always made to measure and also features a very high-quality manufacture and stability.
In the available space of 1200 mm x 1500 mm (width x depth)a DHM 500 with a cabin of 1070 mm x 1200 mm (width x depth) could be fitted. In spite of the spacious cabin and the travel of 9140 mm, the pit required only a depth of 110 mm.
With this solution, it is now possible to treat the guests to good food also on the second floor, without this turning out to be an excessive amount of stress for the staff.
