Reliably closed gate on outdoor terrace

Children love McDonald’s. Not only because of the food, but also because there usually is an area where they can play. To make sure children don’t run by accident to the street when they are playing, at McDonald’s in Gilching (Germany) the gate from the outdoor terrasse to the street was equipped with a child security latch and now can only be opened from the outside.
But what is the use of a child security latch if the gate is not closed? In order to prevent this, also a DICTATOR DIREKT door closer was mounted to reliably close the gate at a controlled, adjustable speed immediately after having been opened.
