Hinged gates situated on a slope are equipped with ascending hinges so they can be opened. When closing, usually their own weight increases the closing speed and high forces can occur: a considerable risk for accidents.
The adjustable DICTATOR oil dampers for gates with ascending hinges prevent the uncontrolled closing. They make sure the gates close slowly and at an adjusted speed. The piston rod is protected against dirt by a protective tube. The oil dampers are zinc-plated and also covered with a shrink wrap which provides an effective protection against rust. The oil dampers are fixed on both ends by rose bearings which are sealed against entering water.
The new generation of DICTATOR oil dampers for gates with ascending hinges has an external adjusting. This allows the simple regulation of the dampers when they are built in and their exact adjustment to the requirements on site. An integrated protection against shifting prevents unauthorized manipulation of the adjustment.
The ÖDR oil dampers are available with three different stroke lengths (200, 300 and 400 mm) and in the colours black, white and grey.
