Torsion spring

For installation in the door frame

The torsion spring is used as a simple closing device, especially on lift doors with concealed hinges.
To avoid unnecessary noise, the spring leaves are coverd with a flexible plastic tube.

Material	spring steel (8 leaf springs), fixing bracket: zinc-plated steel

When installing the torsion spring please make sure there is sufficient space between the door frame and the door when the door is closed.

Due to the different door widths and weights it is not possible to make any general recommendation on the pretensioning.

The pretensioning of the torsion spring is adjusted by turning the hexagon (see arrow) in the upper fixing bracket.
